- Articles are published in accord with Creative Commons CC BY-NC-SA) (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/).
- Romanian Intelligence Studies Review is published on an biannual basis.

Languages
- RISR publishes contributions in English and sometimes exceptionally in Romanian.
Submission Process
- All submissions are considered by the Editor-in-Chief in the first instance. Suitable papers are peer-reviewed by a minimum of two experts. Peer-reviewers (also known as Referees) are selected for their knowledge and expertise and may include, but are not limited to RISR‘s Editorial Board.
- Authors are strongly advised to read the notes for contributors before submitting a manuscript.
- Manuscripts should be structured as follows, please use the RISR template.
- Title
- Author’s first name and last name
- Five-six keywords
- The text body. In order to facilitate the reading of longer texts, these should be arranged, in a relevant manner, in chapters (from Introduction to Conclusions; chapter titles will be typed in bolds)
- An abstract of at least one page, in an international language – preferably English, including the title and the keywords
- A short autobiographic note (of about 1,500 characters, including the following pieces of information: first and last name; the university they attended; scientific degree – master student, doctoral student, doctor; institutional affiliation – if that is the case; significant papers and books; awards)
- Critical apparatus will be made according to Chicago style guidelines. Author(s) should follow the latest edition of Chicago Manual of Style/Turabian or APA style in referencing. Submission Charges
- RISR does not have any submission, author processing charges (APC), page, color or any other charges.
