Abstract:
This article explores the relationship between managerial behaviour and
organizational performance from the theoretical perspectives of contingency theory and
transformational leadership. Using empirical data collected during doctoral research in
an intelligence organization, the study provides a multidimensional view of managerial
behaviours that influence performance. The article includes both theoretical insights
and practical findings derived from qualitative and quantitative research methods. The
results confirm that adaptive, transformational managerial behaviours are significantly
correlated with performance indicators in structured and hierarchical institutions.
